IT System Engineer

Are you a pro at server management and a team player in an international setting? Then we have the perfect challenge for you! As an IT System Engineer, you will be responsible for maintaining, supporting, and improving our local IT infrastructure. You will provide daily support to end users and work closely with a team of colleagues around the world. No day is the same!

Tasks and responsibilities:

• Plan, develop, implement, and test system changes on a daily basis
• Diagnose and resolve issues within our IT infrastructure
• Create and maintain documentation for IT processes
• Provide active support to end users
• Participate in international projects and cross-functional teams
• Possible participation in a service rotation schedule

Knowledge and skills:

• Strong communication skills, sociable, and commercially minded
• Experience with Microsoft Windows Server and basic knowledge of Linux (CentOS is a plus!)
• Proficient in virtualization (VMWare, Azure, AWS)
• Skilled with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Visio)
• Experience within ITSM or DevOps structures
• Fluent in Dutch and English

Education required for the role:

• At least a secondary vocation education in information technology (IT), or comparable level of thinking and working ability acquired through demonstrable relevant work experience.
• 0-1 year of hands-on experience in server management
• Azure/Cloud certifications are a plus!
