We are looking for a Staff Software Engineer to come help manage digital risk by applying security through identity integration and controls. The Identity & Access Management Software Engineer is a member of the Identity Access & Management team, reporting to an Identity & Access Management Team Leader. You will build workflows and application integrations as coordinated with the larger IAM team, Product Management and Business teams.

This role will be reporting to the Sr. Director, Engineering and you'll be responsible for:

• Involving in the development of identity management products for Zscaler
• Designing and implementation of core product functionality and key technical initiatives
• Collaborating with team members to maintain a positive working culture

What We're Looking for (Minimum Qualifications)

• 5+ years software development experience in large-scale commercial networking oriented applications with degree in Engineering or Computer Science
• Proficient in enterprise Java, object-oriented programming (OOP) and analysis (OOA), systems architecture, RESTful APIs, related frameworks such as Hibernate and Spring, as well as CI/CD tools and processes
• Experience with SQL and Postgres
• Strong understanding of networking protocols, including HTTP, SSL/TLS, and TCP/IP

What Will Make You Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)

• Knowledge of Identity and Access Management protocols, such as OAuth, OpenID Connect, SAML, Federation, SSO, etc. is preferred
• Knowledge about Docker/Kubernetes and container infrastructure would be a plus
