Head Of Us Federal Sales

The head of US federal sales will own the go-to-market strategy for the U.S. federal sector, driving growth across defense, civilian, and intelligence agencies. This leader will be accountable for accelerating pipeline, building strategic partnerships, and ensuring federal customers adopt and expand their use of the Zoom product portfolio.

Responsibilities:

  • Define and execute a clear GTM strategy for the U.S. federal market, aligned with company revenue goals.
  • Build and accelerate pipeline growth through targeted programs, partnerships, and campaigns.
  • Partner with sales leadership to drive account penetration, customer acquisition, and expansion.
  • Develop federal-specific value propositions and sales plays to differentiate in competitive markets.
  • Collaborate with product, marketing, and partner teams to ensure federal requirements and messaging are integrated into GTM motions.
  • Provide executive-level visibility into pipeline health, forecast accuracy, and revenue acceleration.

What we're looking for:

  • 10+ years of experience in U.S. federal go-to-market, business development, or sales strategy.
  • 10+ years of sales leadership experience.
  • Deep knowledge of federal procurement cycles, buying centers, and partner ecosystems.
  • Proven success in scaling pipeline and revenue growth within federal accounts.
  • Strong executive presence, communication skills, and ability to influence senior stakeholders.

Salary range or on target earnings: minimum $227,500.00 maximum $508,400.00. In addition to the base salary and/or OTE listed, Zoom has a total direct compensation philosophy that takes into consideration; base salary, bonus and equity value. Note: starting pay will be based on a number of factors and commensurate with qualifications & experience. We also have a location based compensation structure; there may be a different range for candidates in this and other locations.
