The Senior Director of Sales is a key member of our sales team at Zinnia. You will work closely with our Head of Enterprise Sales to advance our sales organization and sales processes. We are relentless in our drive to reliably deliver outstanding revenue growth. We are growing fast, but we can go further faster with experienced, collaborative, challenge-seeking sales leaders like yourself.

Our sales team serves Zinnia's businesses by targeting, building relationships and ultimately closing new deals with insurance partners. We partner with a variety of stakeholders both internally, across the company, and externally, with our insurance partners, to identify solutions that will solve the needs for consumers.

What You'll Do:

  • Build and maintain relationships with senior executives in the life insurance industry, such as CEO's, Chief Distribution Officers, Chief Strategy Officers, Chief Information Officers, and Chief Financial Officers
  • Own your sales territory, identify prospects and convert those targets to new clients in order to maintain a healthy pipeline
  • Work in concert with sales operations, solution consulting, marketing, and other stakeholders across the company to drive and advance the generation of revenue to exceed Company targets
  • Be willing to travel 50% of the time to meet with prospects, clients, and attend industry events

What You'll Need:

  • You have 10+ years of Software as a Service (SaaS) technology sales experience
  • You have 10+ years in the FinTech or Insurance industries
  • Proven track record of consistently exceeding sales targets
  • Entrepreneurial and hunter mindset
  • Experience navigating complex sales cycles with both small and large organizations
  • Excellent presentation skills
  • Positive attitude, self-motivated, persistent and passionate
  • You are comfortable with CRM tracking systems, Hubspot being a plus
