VoucherCodes, a key part of Ziff Davis Shopping, is looking for a Test Engineer to join our Engineering team in London. In this hybrid role, you will join a collaborative squad of over 25 UK-based engineers within a global team of 50+, reporting to the Engineering Manager. You will play a vital role in our full-stack agile teams, partnering closely with Product, UI, and Backend engineers to deliver the best possible experience to our 8 million monthly visitors. Key Responsibilities:

• Maintaining and developing automated test suites, aiming for constant improvement
• Preventing bugs and issues by thinking of relevant scenarios that can help meet the validation of acceptance criteria at the story development stage
• Contributing to planning sessions with estimations and timelines
• Devising and carrying out both manual and automated testing to ensure the quality of the software under test
• Helping keep our CI pipelines healthy
• Working closely with your team to ensure all testing, manual or automated, is accurately planned within the overall agreed timeframes of the project - helping to embed quality as early as possible
• Adopting logical approaches to tasks

Job Qualifications:

• At least 2 years of experience within a QA role
• At least 1 year of experience automating tests
• Experience with Javascript
• Experience of an Agile Development environment
• Good communication skills
• Any experience with CI/CD desirable
• Any experience with SQL desirable
• Any experience with AWS technologies, Docker, Kubernetes is desirable

Compensation Range:

Ziff Davis provides a range for the base pay. Factors that may be used to determine your actual pay may include your specific job related knowledge, skills, experience, and geographic location. The salary compensation for this role is £45,000 to £55,000. Individual pay within the compensation range for this business unit specific role is determined based on a variety of factors including experience, scope of the role, capabilities to perform the role, education and training, as well as business and company performance.
