Senior API Engineer (react, AEM, Cloud, Devops & AI)

Job Description

• Strong hands on experience with Node.js for scalable backend systems• Advanced CI/CD and DevOps practices• Deep experience with Kafka for designing event driven architectures• Strong data modeling and optimization skills using PostgreSQL, DynamoDB, and MongoDB• Solid experience with AWS services and cloud architecture• Expertise in AWS Lambda and serverless design patterns• API design, performance tuning, and system reliability• Production support, root cause analysis, and escalation handling• Code reviews, mentoring, and technical leadership

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and own scalable backend systems using Node.js.• Architect and optimize event driven systems using Kafka.• Design efficient data models and access patterns using PostgreSQL, DynamoDB, and MongoDB.• Design and implement serverless solutions using AWS Lambda.• Drive AWS architecture decisions, performance optimization, and reliability improvements.• Lead API design, code reviews, and backend best practices.• Perform root cause analysis, handle production escalations, and drive resolutions.• Mentor engineers and provide technical guidance.• Working knowledge of React and Next.js is optional.
