Salesforce Professional
We are seeking a skilled Salesforce professional with 3–5 years of experience in Salesforce license management, access control, and sales operations enablement. The role focuses on reviewing Salesforce license usage, validating user access, enabling quote creation (CPQ or standard quoting), and supporting data-driven business users ("data experts") while ensuring compliance with security and governance standards.
Responsibilities
Salesforce License Management
- Manage and administer various Salesforce license types, including but not limited to: Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Platform / Platform Starter, CPQ (Configure, Price, Quote), Experience Cloud (as applicable)
- Analyze current license utilization and recommend license optimization and cost-saving opportunities.
- Assign, modify, and revoke licenses based on business roles and usage patterns.
Access Review & Security Governance
- Conduct periodic user access reviews to ensure: Access aligns with job responsibilities. Compliance with internal audit and security policies.
- Manage: Profiles, Permission Sets, Permission Set Groups, Role Hierarchies
- Ensure least-privilege access model across Salesforce orgs.
- Support internal and external audits by providing access and entitlement reports.
Sales & Quoting Enablement
- Enable and support users involved in: Quote creation, Opportunity management, Pricing and discount processes
- Configure and support: Salesforce Quotes or Salesforce CPQ (if applicable), Approval processes for pricing and discounts
- Work closely with Sales, Finance, and Revenue Operations teams to ensure accurate and compliant quoting.
Data & Reporting Support (Data Experts)
- Support data experts and business analysts with: Reports, Dashboards, Data visibility and access
- Ensure users have appropriate access to: Objects, Fields, Reports and dashboards
- Maintain data quality, consistency, and integrity across Salesforce applications.
Stakeholder Collaboration
- Act as a bridge between: Business users, Sales Operations, IT / Security teams
- Translate business requirements into Salesforce configurations.
- Provide end-user guidance and training on access and license usage best practices.
Qualifications
Mandatory Skills
- 3–5 years of hands-on Salesforce experience.
- Strong understanding of: Salesforce license models, Profiles and Permission Sets, Role hierarchy and sharing rules
- Experience supporting sales processes and quoting.
- Strong analytical skills for license usage and access reviews.
- Knowledge of Salesforce security and compliance best practices.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with Salesforce CPQ.
- Salesforce Administrator certification (ADM 201).
- Experience working in regulated or enterprise environments.
- Exposure to audit, compliance, or SOX-controlled Salesforce orgs.
Soft Skills
- Strong attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work cross-functionally with business and technical teams.
- Proactive mindset with a focus on process improvement.
