✨ About The Role
- The VP of Engineering will lead the Engineering Department and report directly to the Chief Product Officer.
- This role involves managing and coordinating technical work associated with Radioisotope Power Systems (RPS) programs.
- The successful candidate will be responsible for the technical performance of nuclear design and technology programs.
- The position requires building and maintaining a highly qualified staff and ensuring necessary resources are available.
- The VP will also be responsible for developing and implementing engineering procedures and quality assurance policies within the Engineering Team.

- The ideal candidate will have a B.S. or higher in an engineering discipline from an accredited university with over 15 years of experience, including more than 10 years in engineering management.
- Extensive technical expertise in engineering principles, concepts, and project management is essential for success in this role.
- The candidate should have demonstrated experience leading a multi-disciplinary engineering organization, particularly in nuclear design or space product design.
- Strong communication, documentation, and interpersonal skills are necessary to effectively direct successful technical teams.
- The ability to work efficiently under pressure and meet deadlines in an uncertain environment is crucial.
