Mid-Market And Enterprise Sales Executive

Intuit Mailchimp's new business sales team is a group of consultative sellers focused on engaging and acquiring mid-market and enterprise customers. Our AEs play a key role in moving Mailchimp's business upmarket, bringing the value of our omnichannel marketing platform to companies looking to improve how they engage, monetize, and retain their customers.

Responsibilities

  1. Deliver revenue by acquiring customers, owning the entire sales cycle through close
  2. Create and close opportunities within your assigned territory
  3. Deploy a multi-channel outbound prospecting strategy to engage high-fit companies and generate pipeline
  4. Engage prospects with genuine curiosity to uncover challenges, demonstrate the value of Mailchimp, and persuade them to make a change
  5. Conduct demos of our omnichannel suite of products, including email, SMS, and transactional messaging, clearly articulating how triggered, event-based communications drive customer engagement and revenue
  6. Position Mailchimp's transactional email capabilities (e.g., order confirmations, password resets, lifecycle triggers) as critical infrastructure for scalable, personalized customer experiences
  7. Leverage value-based selling by providing tailored insights, sharing social proof, and demonstrating ROI—particularly how transactional messaging improves deliverability, retention, and lifetime value
  8. Demonstrate advanced marketing knowledge to act as a trusted advisor, including advising on integration of transactional and marketing automation strategies

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of new logo B2B SaaS sales experience, preferably in a full-cycle hunter role
  • Consistent track record of hitting or exceeding quota targets in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
  • Experience working with mid-market and enterprise companies, including those with growing and sophisticated marketing functions
  • High level of business acumen and marketing knowledge
  • Strong understanding of transactional email concepts, including APIs, event-triggered messaging, deliverability, and integration with product and engineering workflows
  • Ability to articulate the business value of transactional messaging in improving customer experience, operational efficiency, and revenue generation
  • Strong drive for results, and the ability to deal with ambiguity
  • Hungry for feedback and exceptional at applying feedback to improve results
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Competitive, collaborative, and highly creative
