Electronics Engineer Intern

ZELP is an agricultural technology company committed to creating a sustainable future for agriculture - one that meets the needs of present and future generations, promoting human and environmental health, animal welfare, and social and economic equity. Our first focus is to develop and scale technology that measures and mitigates methane emissions in the livestock industry. The deployment of our technologies on a global scale has the potential to drive half the global methane reduction needed by 2030, and to transform the beef and dairy industries.

The Hardware team is a critical part of ZELP. The team works on all the electronic elements of our devices. The Electronics Engineer Intern will be a part of this team. Your duties will include:

• Support the Hardware team with design, building, programming and testing of internal rigs used for development.
• Collaborate in building prototypes, procuring PCBs and components, troubleshooting and re-working faulty parts of current products.
• Building cables and harness required for prototypes or devices.
• Writing documentation to explain building or assembly steps.
• Schematic and PCB layout design, component and footprint creation in Altium.
• Ad-hoc electronics admin tasks
• We are looking for people who have a passion for animals, climate technology, and the environment.
