As a Frontend Engineer in the Loyalty Web team, you will be responsible for developing, testing, operating, and monitoring services that lay at the very foundation of the Zalando Loyalty Program Platform. You will have the opportunity to participate and contribute to technical solution designs and decisions in new technology stacks for building new features for our membership program.
Design, develop, deploy, operate, and improve important software solutions that are well tested, and your peers praise for its elegance and code readability. Add value by leveraging current trends in software design, architecture, and web, constantly improving our architecture to be more flexible and scalable. Work closely with product managers and designers in designing and delivering experiences for millions of Zalando customers.
3+ years of experience of professional software development experience. Strong experience in Javascript / Typescript, React, and frontend state management. Solid foundation of frontend technologies (ECMAScript, HTML5, CSS3) and build tools like Webpack. Good knowledge of RESTful APIs / GraphQL clients and comfortable developing and consuming them. Ability to deploy and operate applications in a cloud infrastructure. Eager to build systems for production. You care about observability, automated tests, and fast delivery. Good verbal and written communication skills. Curiosity in working closely with product management and design, having a passion for usability, and an eye for good design.
