Oulun or Rovaniemen service point according to agreement. The position is permanent and full-time or part-time according to your preference. You can therefore suggest the suitable start date, weekly working hours, and duration of employment. The role can be performed remotely, from a service point, or in a hybrid model.

The treatment of mental health issues involves a multidisciplinary team including general practitioners, psychiatric nurses, healthcare professionals, and psychologists. You will also receive support from a national network of experienced psychiatry specialists.
It would be a great advantage for our team if you have expertise in the diagnostics and treatment of neuropsychiatric disorders. The Acute patient information system we use is user-friendly and easy to adopt.
Students are referred to the psychiatry reception, usually by a general practitioner, when treatment by a psychiatric nurse or psychologist and a general practitioner has not been sufficient and a specialist doctor's assessment is needed at a basic level. Based on research results, the psychiatrist develops a treatment and rehabilitation plan with the necessary statements. Psychiatrists also perform other consultation work, answering questions from general practitioners and teams.

It is important to us that combining work and leisure is easy; days end on time and evenings and weekends are your time. The full-time doctor's working time is 38.25 hours/week. Our doctors are part of the flexible annual working time framework.
Regarding terms and remuneration, we follow the agreement between YTHS and the Finnish Medical Association. The task-specific monthly salary for full-time specialists is 7026–7743 euros. The monthly salary may also include a personal salary share of 6–24%. We pay for medical certificates and statements according to TES.
