YouLend Sales Manager For Germany

YouLend is a rapidly growing FinTech that is the preferred embedded financing platform for many of the world's leading e-commerce platforms, tech companies, and Payment Service Providers. Our software platform enables our partners to extend their value proposition by offering flexible financing products in their own branding, to their merchant base, without capital at risk.

We are owned by the leading Private Equity company, EQT, and have grown +100% year-on-year since 2020. We are headquartered in London, UK, but are also present in several European countries as well as the United States where we service our partners, including eBay, Amazon, Just Eat, Shopify, and Stripe.

You will be working closely with the Head of European Operations to open and expand YouLend's newest office in Germany. The candidate will take full ownership of building and managing the German-speaking Sales team (40+ people expected within 12 months). This team is responsible for servicing new and existing business as they apply for merchant cash advances (MCAs).

Your primary objective is to ensure that customers are served well (as measured through Trustpilot and NPS), whilst ensuring conversion rates and funded amounts are high. You will be responsible for hiring, training and developing current and prospective team members to meet targets. In addition, you will work closely with stakeholders in Partnerships, Product, and Commercial to go-to-market with new partners and improve the overall merchant experience.

This role will be targeted at improving the outcome, processes, and efficiencies across the German market. You should be able to work independently, build a high-performing team, be proactive, and meet ambitious targets. You should have a strong understanding of the end-to-end application cycle, and successfully implement strategies to streamline operations, improve conversion, and enhance the overall customer experience. The role requires strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities; as well as excellent people skills to communicate changes.
