Youlend Credit Operations Manager

Key Responsibilities

  • Leadership & Team Management
    • Lead, coach, and develop a team of between 7-10 Credit Operations Specialists in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
    • Manage team capacity, workload balancing, and performance reviews to ensure operational coverage and excellence.
    • Foster a collaborative, motivated, and accountable team culture aligned with company values.
  • Operational Oversight
    • Monitor daily pipelines and ensure that resource is being allocated in accordance with volume fluctuations and trends.
    • Troubleshoot bottlenecks, escalations, and process exceptions quickly and effectively.
    • Ensure service-level agreements (SLAs), turnaround times, and accuracy targets are consistently met or exceeded.
  • Process Improvement
    • Identify and implement process efficiencies, automation opportunities, and documentation improvements.
    • Act as a key liaison between the Credit Operations, Sales and Tech teams to continuously refine and evolve eligibility processes.
  • Reporting & Analytics
    • Track team KPIs and performance metrics, and report on key trends, risks, and opportunities to leadership.
    • Provide data-driven insights to enhance decision readiness and operational effectiveness.
  • Compliance & Quality Assurance
    • Maintain rigorous attention to detail and ensure full compliance with internal credit policies and regulatory requirements.
    • Champion quality control practices and contribute to regular audits and feedback loops.
