Affiliate & Influencer Marketing Manager
MR PORTER is searching for a seasoned candidate to join the award-winning Affiliate & Influencer Marketing Team as an Affiliate & Influencer Marketing Manager. We're looking for a new team member to support and drive the affiliate channel's success even further in 2025 and beyond. Leading our affiliate strategy, the successful candidate will be based in London, reporting into the Head of Affiliate & Influencer Marketing. You will need to demonstrate excellent commercial skills combined with proven digital experience and team leadership capabilities. You will be instrumental in the definition, implementation and delivery of the global strategy through a localized lens, to drive new customer acquisition for MR PORTER.

Here is a breakdown of what you'll be doing:
- Lead and manage a team of 2 direct reports, with proven ability to delegate effectively and drive projects end-to-end.
- Planning & management of the MR PORTER affiliate budget globally.
- Support the Head of Department in curating the MR PORTER affiliate marketing strategy globally, leading the delegation & execution of the strategy, and localising it to drive regional relevance & commercial KPIs.
- Take an analytical approach, effectively measure performance across both affiliate and influencer activity – establishing goals and targets in driving business success. Reviewing, analysing & optimizing performance, reporting back on achievements and challenges; propose new KPIs, metrics and approaches to strategic partnerships depending on business priorities.
- Work collaboratively across other business departments to align all activity – including but not limited to Performance Marketing, Marketing, Creative, PR, Social and Buying teams.
- Accountable for leading the affiliate channel's technical optimisation & developments, working with internal Marketing Intelligence & Tech Teams to manage. Lead negotiations for commercial agreements with affiliate network/agency.
- Lead the day-to-day relationship with our affiliate network/agency partners, including regular meetings, reporting, clear communication of upcoming campaigns, promotions, priority initiatives and other ad-hoc tasks.
- Develop designer, category and campaign-led strategies with partners to ensure amplification of various business and commercial priorities.
- Proactively build on the favourable reputation of MR PORTER to ensure a strong, transparent and collaborative relationship with all affiliate partners.
- Manage strategic partner relationships with the goal of establishing long-lasting relationships & building a strong and effective network of directly managed partnerships.
- Monitor and report competitor activity and relevant industry trends, events and opportunities to appropriate teams.
- Propose innovative ideas and initiatives that drive full price customer growth, sales and scale brand awareness; ensure a cohesive and comprehensive brand strategy and 360 approach.
- Act as a brand guardian and ensure all activations that pass through the affiliate and influencer channels adhere to the MR PORTER brand guidelines.
The type of person we are looking for:
- 4-5 years of affiliate marketing experience ideally gained in a luxury and/or online retail environment or affiliate agency.
- Partnerize or affiliate network/platform experience.
- Management experience leading teams and/or projects end-to-end, with strong delegation and people development skills.
- Proven commercial experience in fast-paced retail environments, driving sales with strong ROAS focus and healthy new customer acquisition.
- Strong analytical mindset with proficiency in Excel and Google Analytics; data-led approach to performance optimization.
- Experience managing agencies and building strategic partnerships with excellent negotiation skills.
- Self-starter with ability to work independently in a fast-paced, evolving environment while maintaining positive mindset under pressure.
- Exceptional relationship-building skills across internal teams and external partners, with excellent communication skills.
- Creative strategic thinker who brings innovative ideas to drive business growth and shares knowledge proactively with the wider team.
- Highly organized with strong judgment, problem-solving skills, and natural initiative, with a good sense of humour.
- Passionate about MR PORTER brand with drive to maintain competitive edge in affiliate & influencer marketing.
