Key Responsibilities

1. Centum VP (DCS)

• Perform system engineering, configuration, and modification for Centum VP (R5/R6).
• Support FCS, HIS, Vnet/IP, and system architecture design.
• Execute system installation, FAT, SAT, commissioning, and startup support.
• Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network issues.
• Perform system upgrades, migrations, backups, and restorations.
• Provide on-site and remote technical support during plant operations.
• Prepare technical documentation, system drawings, and reports.

2. Prosafe-RS (SIS)

• Engineering, configuration, and maintenance of Prosafe-RS safety systems.
• Support SIL verification, logic implementation, and change management.
• Conduct FAT/SAT and site commissioning for SIS.
• Troubleshoot safety logic, I/O issues, and communication interfaces.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards.
• Support trip analysis, cause & effect verification, and proof testing.

3. PRM (Plant Resource Manager)

• Configure and maintain PRM for field devices monitoring and diagnostics.
• Integrate PRM with Centum VP and asset management systems.
• Support field device setup, alerts, and condition-based maintenance.
• Analyze device health data and recommend corrective actions.

4. Customer Support & Coordination

• Act as a key technical interface with customers during service activities.
• Provide timely resolution of plant issues to minimize downtime.
• Support AMC, T&M, and emergency service calls.
• Deliver technical presentations, training, and knowledge transfer to clients.

5. Compliance & Safety

• Follow Yokogawa quality, safety, and cybersecurity guidelines.
• Ensure proper documentation and change control procedures.
• Adhere to site safety rules and permit-to-work systems.

Required Qualifications

Education

• Bachelor's Degree in Instrumentation, Electronics, Electrical, or Control Engineering.

Experience

• 7–12 years of hands-on experience with Yokogawa systems.
• Strong expertise in Centum VP, Prosafe-RS, and PRM.
• Experience in Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, Power, or Process Industries.

Technical Skills

• DCS/SIS architecture and networking (Vnet/IP).
• System upgrades and version migration.
• FAT/SAT, commissioning, and plant startup support.
• Trip analysis, interlock logic, and safety documentation.
• Troubleshooting at system and field level.

Soft Skills

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Good communication and customer-handling skills.
• Ability to work independently and lead service activities.
• Willingness to travel and support site assignments.

Preferred Certifications (Added Advantage)

• Yokogawa Certified Engineer (CENTUM VP / ProSafe-RS)
• Functional Safety Certification
• PRM or Asset Management training

Work Environment

• Site-based and office-based assignments.
• On-call and emergency support as required.
• Local and international travel may be required.
