Xylem is looking for a Service Technician- Diesel at our Kalgoorlie Location. The Service Technician will be responsible for performing both scheduled and emergency service work, including the disassembly, overhaul, repair, testing, and inspection of a variety of Xylem systems and products.

The Position:

  • Perform scheduled and emergency service work on a variety of Xylem products and associated equipment, both in the workshop and at customer sites.
  • Carry out the installation, repair, monitoring, and maintenance of equipment as required.
  • Install and test products prior to dispatch to ensure compliance with operational standards.
  • Provide clear and professional feedback to customers upon completion of service visits, outlining the work performed and its effectiveness.
  • Deliver timely and accurate technical advice and support to both internal teams and customers, in person and in writing.
  • Actively participate in Quality Assurance (QA) and Environment, Health & Safety (EHS) audits, promoting best practices.
  • Clean, disassemble, assess, and rebuild systems, pumps, and mixers in the workshop or on-site as needed.
  • Prepare and maintain accurate service reports and documentation in a timely manner.

About You:

  • Trade Qualification as a Diesel Mechanic
  • Prior Experience working in a Workshop environment.
  • Good attention to detail, excellent problem solving and time management.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to successfully communicate with customers.
