The Service Manager (Onsite) is responsible for providing both strategic and tactical leadership to field service professionals across a major site or multiple locations. This role plays a critical part in talent management, including the attraction, retention, engagement, performance, and professional development of team members.
Key responsibilities include developing and managing Service Department budgets, controlling operational expenses, and leading workforce planning efforts. The Service Manager is expected to proactively address and resolve employee relations matters while translating customer requirements into actionable workforce plans and objectives.
This position ensures visibility into key water industry performance indicators (KPIs) and operational metrics, offering insights and recommendations to senior leadership. As a second-level leader, the Service Manager applies advanced technical and operational knowledge, leverages regional resources, and collaborates with cross-functional stakeholders to drive successful customer and business outcomes.
Additionally, the role is accountable for maintaining product, system, and water quality standards, as well as overseeing inventory management.
Xylem does not provide visa sponsorship for this position. The estimated salary range for this position is $100,000 to $110,000, 10% annual bonus & company vehicle. Starting pay is dependent on multiple factors, such as skills, experience and work location, and is not typically at the top of the range.
