About the opportunity

This will be a permanent, full-time role based out of our Melbourne office, 38 hours a week, $170,000-180,000k AUD per annum.

You'll join our Fitness & Wellbeing vertical where we've brought together our Boutique Wellness and Health & Fitness business to form a single, global vertical that serves clients around the globe in key markets. We offer market-leading software products to gyms, health clubs, leisure, parks & recreation centers.

Reporting into the VP of Sales & Marketing, you'll lead market development efforts in Australia. This is a strategic, full-cycle sales role focused on launching and scaling Mariana Tek's presence in a new region.

This role is ideal for someone who already has a deep understanding of the Mariana Tek platform—whether as a former client, partner, or employee—and is excited to bring that expertise to a high-impact, growth-focused role. You'll play a critical role in our international expansion.

This is more than just a sales role—it's a foundational position for Mariana Tek's growth in Australia. You'll help us establish product-market fit, drive early wins, and build the team that will carry the region forward.

Some of the other responsibilities include:

  • Build and execute a localized go-to-market strategy for Mariana Tek in Australia
  • Own the full sales cycle from lead generation through demo, proposal, negotiation, and close
  • Represent Mariana Tek in the market: meet with prospects in person, attend industry events, and build relationships within the boutique fitness ecosystem
  • Collaborate with internal marketing and product teams to localize positioning and messaging
  • Hire, train, and mentor the first local team member in Australia as the region gains traction
  • Partner closely with onboarding and customer success to ensure smooth transitions from sale to go-live
  • Help define the operational blueprint for expansion in the AU region

For this position, we offer a hybrid and flexible working model, where you will spend 2-3 days per week in the Melbourne office and the rest working from home.
