Account Executive

Join our Xplor Gym team as an Account Executive in Melbourne, to make a real impact every day. We say that because we know that every conversation we have, every code line we write and every interface we design is another opportunity for us to enrich our customers' experiences.

You'll join our Fitness & Wellbeing vertical where we've recently brought together our Boutique Wellness and Health & Fitness business to form a single, global vertical that serves clients around the globe in key markets like the US, Canada, UK, Europe, Japan, Australia and New Zealand. We have market-leading software products like Xplor Gym (Membr), Mariana Tek, TrueCoach, Clubware, Resamania and Xplor Recreation designed to help our clients manage and grow their business.

Reporting into the Commercial Director, you'll play a key role in driving growth for Xplor Gym by acquiring new customers across Australia and New Zealand. You'll manage the full sales cycle, from prospecting and discovery to demo and close, helping fitness businesses modernize operations and enhance their member experience with our software.

Some of the responsibilities include:

  • Own and manage the full sales cycle from lead to close.
  • Conduct tailored product demos that address customer pain points and highlight value.
  • Build and maintain a strong pipeline through outbound prospecting and inbound follow-up.
  • Identify candidates to migrate from Clubware to Xplor Gym by performing demos and deep dives
  • Understand the customer's business to up-sell products and increase software MRR
  • Collaborate with marketing, account management, and implementation to ensure a smooth customer journey.
  • Achieve and exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets.
  • Understand industry trends and competitor offerings.
  • Maintain accurate activity and pipeline data in Salesforce.
  • Represent Xplor Gym at industry events and conferences

For this position, we offer a hybrid and flexible working model, where you will spend 2 days per week in the office and the rest working from home.

Required qualifications for this role:

  • 2+ years' experience in B2B SaaS sales (fitness or payments experience highly regarded).
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales quotas.
  • Strong discovery and consultative selling skills.
  • Experience presenting software solutions to business owners and decision-makers.
  • Self-motivated with excellent time management and pipeline discipline.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Passion for fitness, technology, or helping businesses grow.
  • A high level of computer literacy would be ideal as would a knowledge of Excel and Salesforce
  • Growth mindset with openness to feedback and a desire to continuously learn and improve
  • Must be an Australian citizen or have eligibility and documentation demonstrating your right to work in Australia
