The job of the nutritional service worker is done for the purpose of preparing and serving attractive and nutritious meals to students as well as maintaining food service facilities in a safe and sanitary condition. Duties include, but are not limited to: preparation of salad bar, basic food preparation, ability to follow recipes, running cash register and collecting payments for food items, receiving deliveries, maintaining inventory and date rotation, cooking, cleaning, washing dishes, helping other staff, serving students and staff, assisting students/staff point-of-sale entry, and maintaining equipment. Called on as need basis.
