The Role

Lumen is seeking a dynamic and strategic Senior Lead Marketing Manager to lead marketing efforts for our Network Security portfolio, with a specialized focus on Black Lotus Labs (BLL) threat intelligence and its integration into third-party products. This role is ideal for a cybersecurity-savvy marketer who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about shaping the future of threat detection and network protection.

The Main Responsibilities

• Lead Go-to-Market Strategy for Lumen Defender and related offerings powered by Black Lotus Labs, including SASE and DDoS mitigation.
• Position BLL Intelligence as a key differentiator across Lumen's own products and third-party integrations.
• Develop High-Impact Content, including datasheets, solution briefs, customer presentations, and technical blogs that resonate with security buyers.
• Drive Integrated Campaigns that highlight BLL's role in proactive threat detection and security operations.
• Collaborate Cross-Functionally with Product, Sales, Partner Marketing, and Analyst Relations to align messaging and support launches.
• Enable Sales Teams with messaging maps, conversation guides, and validated design narratives.
• Support Partner Co-Marketing initiatives with ISVs and hyperscalers, including joint events and press releases.

What We Look For in a Candidate

• 5-8 years in product or solutions marketing, preferably in cybersecurity or network infrastructure.
• Experience marketing threat intelligence, SOC tools, or managed security services.
• Strong understanding of partner ecosystems and third-party integrations.
• Exceptional storytelling, writing, and presentation skills.
• Proven ability to translate technical concepts into customer-centric narratives.
• Experience with campaign execution across digital, events, and analyst channels.
• Data-driven marketing analysis to connect campaigns to revenue and customer adoption.

Compensation

This information reflects the anticipated base salary range for this position based on current national data. Minimums and maximums may vary based on location. Individual pay is based on skills, experience and other relevant factors. Location Based Pay Ranges $103,711 - $138,281 in these states: AL AR AZ FL GA IA ID IN KS KY LA ME MO MS MT ND NE NM OH OK PA SC SD TN UT VT WI WV WY $108,896 - $145,195 in these states: CO HI MI MN NC NH NV OR RI $114,082 - $152,109 in these states: AK CA CT DC DE IL MA MD NJ NY TX VA WA
