This is a National Guard Title 32 Excepted Service position. This National Guard position is for an HR Spec (Mil), Position Description Number PDD1622000 and is part of the WY Joint Force Headquarters ANG, Wyoming Air National Guard. This position is located within a Military Personnel Flight (MPF) of an Air National Guard (ANG) flying wing. This position administers and accomplishes functions of one or more of the following human resources programs: Career Enhancements, Customer Service, Employments, Relocations, and/or Readiness.
Responsibilities include serving as an advisor to commanders on assigned unit human resources programs, interpreting policy and providing guidance, providing training to supervisors, analyzing data regarding human resources matters, and managing the Point Credit Accounting and Reporting System (PCARS) program.
Requirements include: open to current active-duty Air Force, Air Force Reserves, and other states' Air National Guard members; must submit a resume with a vMPF Rip, DVR, or CDB; must become a military member of the Wyoming Air National Guard before appointment; technicians are paid through Direct Deposit/Electronic Funds Transfer (DD/EFT); military technicians are ineligible for military enlistment, retention, and student loan repayment bonuses; may be required to successfully complete a two-year trial period; federal employment suitability is determined by a background investigation; recruitment/relocation incentives are not authorized; PCS costs are not authorized; must be willing to relocate at own expense if selected; veteran's preference does not apply to National Guard Technician positions.

Specialized Experience includes: Must possess at least 1-year specialized experience equivalent to at least the next lower grade; experience must prepare the applicant to perform the duties of the position; educational-degree study program or military or civilian academic courses may substitute for some specialized experience; applicants must provide dates and hours worked per week with description of specialized experience on the resume.
Military Requirements include: Must possess or be eligible to retrain into AFSC 3F051, Human Resources and Administration; must possess a minimum score of "59" on the Administrative portion of the ASVAB; medical profile PULHES must not be greater than 333233; must be able to lift 40lbs. unassisted; must possess a valid state's driver's license.
