This position is under the Facilities Management Service, Cheyenne VA Medical Center. Cheyenne VA Medical Center was established by President Franklin Roosevelt in 1934. The Campus has 25 buildings and 50.64 acres of land which is maintained by the Facilities department.
Responsibilities As the Engineering Equipment Operator the duties will include but are not limited to the following:
Work Schedule: Monday through Friday - 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m

Physical Requirements: Heavy physical effort is used by the operators in constantly reaching, bending, turning, and moving hands, arms, feet, and legs to handle different sets of controls to operate the equipment and attachments. Considerable strain is caused by the constant vibration of the equipment and the jerking and jolting from operating over rough surfaces. Because of the location of some of the controls and attachments, the operators are frequently required to work in awkward or strained positions. Physical effort is required to turn heavy vehicles and operate vehicle controls.
