Purpose

As a member of the global sales team of GSO, the Manager of Data & Support will manage all GSO tools that include OKTA Dashboard applications with which they will generate support to the GSO LATAMC team, hotels in the region, and other WHR corporate areas according to the need.

They will play a proactive role in generating reports, process control, opening checklists, control of the region's budget, incentive plans, scheduled trainings to hotels, interaction with other GSO hubs of WHR when necessary, as well as directing the development opportunities of all segments and portfolio developed by the GSO LATAMC team.

In this role, they will work directly reporting to the Senior Director of Sales of the region to generate structured processes and strategies of the region, based on the available tools of WHR.

Principal Functions and Responsibilities

• Review, accompany and execute the opening checklist with the sales focus, including the topics to develop together with the openings team

• Control and registration of the LATAMC team budget, informing monthly to the finance team as appropriate with the expenses, approvals and forecasts corresponding to the period

• Schedule and lead trainings for the entire LATAMC region that will include the use of WHR tools, control of participation and use, ensuring the correct use of these

• Interaction with other HUBs to maximize sales opportunities with unattended accounts of the global LATAMC team

• Generate monthly sales reports, consolidating information related to the team's performance since the registration of activities, number of events, workshops, sales of the month vs the goal, main hotels impacted and intelligence that allows to direct the sales efforts in a more effective way

• Communicate with DOSM, GMs, Sales teams according to the challenges related to the support of WHR tools

• Identify the ROI generated from the actions carried out by the sales team, whether participation in fairs, workshops, promotions and others

• Control during the season of RFPs, Business Cases of the region

• Centralization and activation of Hoteligence reports together with the GSO LATAMC team

• Coordinate support with peers during leaves or vacations and attend the needs of said portfolio

Education and Experience

• Education in Business Administration and similar, or Technical in Hospitality

• Minimum 5 years experience in hotels, within sales teams, preferably in other global sales teams.

• Advanced level Office package management (Excel – Power Point)

• Ideally, management of Hotel Management System (PMS) Opera.

• Power BI – Tableau – Hotelligence

• Advanced level of English. Desirable Portuguese, not exclusive.

• Cvent and Salesforce.com is a plus.
