Due to dynamic market development, WSP in Poland is looking for experts for our Infrastructure department. Currently, we are looking for a Bridge Engineer.

In this role, you will join a multidisciplinary team that reflects our company's core values: solidarity, passion for delivering complex projects on a large scale, and innovation and friendliness.

YOUR NEW ROLE, WHAT WILL YOU DO?

MAIN DUTIES:

• Bridge project work, calculations, and 3D modeling of structures.
• Analysis of technical solutions and materials for the selection of technologies and construction methods.
• Verification of the correctness and optimization of design solutions, preparation of pre-works.
• Ensuring timely project completion: participation in the preparation and adherence to project timelines.
• Communication with designers, subcontractors, and other departments to coordinate work.
• Effectively delivering industry projects to the Project Leader and ensuring they are executed on time and according to client requirements and project leader guidelines.
• Communication and coordination of prepared projects with other technical teams.
• Active participation in client communication and meeting client project requirements.

TEAM

The WSP bridge team creates professional design solutions related to new and revitalized facilities. We have experience in all aspects of bridge engineering. We actively participate in every stage of the project process for infrastructure investments of various scales, from concept to construction projects, building, and author supervision on construction.

We conduct technical audits of existing facilities and reinforcement projects. Our specialty is also cost optimizations.

We use the latest design tools such as 3D FEM analysis (using various programs – SOFiSTiK, Robot Structural Analysis, BRIGADE, and Mathcad) for calculations, as well as Tekla and Revit software for BIM modeling. Our team members have international experience gained from projects in Sweden, Finland, England, Germany, and the Middle East.

The department is managed by the Director of the Infrastructure and Construction department. The team currently consists of about 40 people, including engineers and BIM coordinators.

WHAT WOULD IT BE LIKE IF YOU WERE HERE?

REQUIREMENTS

• Higher technical education - Civil Engineering, specialty Bridges.
• Experience in infrastructure design (bridges).
• Knowledge of Polish Building Law, Norms, and Standards in your industry.
• Ability to solve technical problems.
• Fluent knowledge of the English language.
• Proficiency in engineering software such as AutoCAD and other CAD programs. Familiarity with Revit, Tekla, and Sofistik is welcome.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, etc.).
