At WSP Denmark, we are seeking an experienced and strategically strong Operations Director who will lead the operational management of our T&I business. You will be a key person in ensuring effective operations, high quality, and profitability – and you will have a central role in turning strategy into action.

Your team: You will be a key person in our Transport and Infrastructure Division, where you will work with around 120 talented colleagues to drive projects, develop the market, and ensure that our offerings reflect the full breadth of our expertise. We work on complex and exciting projects – and you will have the opportunity to make your mark on both strategy and daily operations. Your role and responsibilities: As Operations Director, you will have a central role in ensuring effective operations and strategic advancement in the T&I business. Your main responsibilities include:

• Strategy and operations: Execution of the Danish strategic plan in close alignment with the regional strategy, as well as leadership of operational improvement initiatives focused on quality and profitability
• Leadership and culture: Management of several teams and development of a culture characterized by collaboration, accountability, and high performance
• Finance and reporting: Budget responsibility in collaboration with Finance, including planning, follow-up, and reporting
• Quality and compliance: Conducting project reviews with a focus on risk management, compliance, and high quality
• Cross-functional collaboration and development: Supporting transformation programs, ESG initiatives, and effective operations in close collaboration with functional leaders such as HR, IT, Legal, and Marketing

Your background and strengths: We envision that you bring several of the following experiences and competencies with you – but we know that the right candidate can come with different backgrounds:

• You have a higher education in, for example, engineering, economics, management, or a related field
• You have solid experience in operational management – preferably 10 years or more – and have worked with complex organizations, perhaps in the consulting industry
• You communicate clearly and professionally in both Danish and English
• You have strong skills in strategy, operations, change management, and financial management
• You are a clear and trustworthy leader who manages to create engagement and collaboration across teams and disciplines
