We are looking for Senior Geotechnical Engineering with advance skills in MS Excel and a working knowledge of SQL Database. Knowledge of the AGS4.1.1AU1.2 data transfer format.

Main Activities and Responsibilities:

Conduct all work in a safe manner and comply with all role specific HSE obligations.

Comply with WSP Quality System and Code of Ethics, coach on the identification and management of ethical issues associated with area of work or practice area.

Be the primary contact for support of our Geotechnical Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS) [KeyLAB by Sequent – a Bentley Systems company]

Manage LIMS user profiles and access and field calls for assistance from end users

Maintain LIMS worksheets and report templates including connectivity to Asset Registers (MS Access), Capability / Pricing and Skills Matrix (MS Excel hosted on SharePoint)

Work with laboratory subject matter experts in developing new templates and migrate existing standalone Excel worksheets into the LIMS platform

Work with laboratory subject matter experts to validate LIMS templates and ensure ISO 17025 compliance which is externally audited by NATA

Using database query tools and working with geotechnical laboratory staff and Manila based WSP finance staff, prepare weekly financial summaries of laboratory unit revenue (recorded in LIMS) for entry in WSP accounting system (Oracle Horizon)

Preparation of WSP client electronic data deliverables (Site Investigation and Lab data) using AGS data transfer format (composite data is hosted in WSP Sub-surface Database (SQL) and this system is still in development so there are opportunities to help develop the user interface, especially for mechanisms to capture third party data which is received in a multitude of formats)

Qualifications

Bachelor of Engineering in Geology, Software Engineering, Database management or similar:

Completion of internal and External HSE Training.
