Senior Engineer - Drainage

Job Title

Responsibilities

Preparation of designs in accordance with standards and protocols

Technical checking and design reviews

Training and mentoring of more junior staff

Lead and attend design review meetings and progress meetings with clients

Contribute to fee estimates, staff utilisation forecasts and defining project scopes

Line management responsibilities

It is mandatory to have experience of AutoCAD Civil 3D and MicroDrainage/Causeway Flow/Infodrainage.

Qualifications

Mandatory skills

A minimum of six years' experience within a consultancy environment

Proven track record of dealing with clients and forging effective relationships in a professional and customer focused manner

Mentoring and guiding junior staff

Good written and verbal communication skills

Experience of working with UK standards

Adept in the use of AutoCAD and aptitude to develop in Civil3D

Proficient in use of standard MS Office software and MicroDrainage/Causeway Flow

Added proficiency in usage of Infodrainage and/or Bentley Openroads, SewerGEMS is welcomed

Qualifications

Degree qualified in Civil Engineering/Water Resources Engineering or equivalent analytical science subject
