WSP has a new full-time opportunity within our Water Use and Resource Management team for a Junior Hydrologist or Water Resources Engineer, based in Midrand (entry level). You will support the water permitting team with water use assessments, water use licence audits, water use licence applications, assistance with IWWMP and RSIP developments. You will be supporting and contributing on hydrological projects such as storm water management, hydrology studies/modelling, river design, water intakes, water quality modelling, climate assessment and modelling and water management plans.
You'll work with a highly skilled multidisciplinary team, contribute to impactful water stewardship projects, and grow your technical modelling capability in a supportive and innovative environment
Bachelor of Science in Hydrology, preferably with a Masters, OR
Bachelor or Master's degree in Engineering
Proficient in MS Word, MS Excel (Advanced), MS PowerPoint, MS Outlook, MS Projects;
Demonstrated knowledge in water resources including hydrology, water balance, water supply feasibility, water reuse and some knowledge on the National Water Act.
