As a Global Procurement Specialist, Professional Services; you'll play a key role in supporting global procurement activities across professional service categories, including Legal, Financial, and Consulting Services. Working closely with global procurement leadership and internal stakeholders, you'll help deliver cost savings, operational efficiency, and responsible sourcing outcomes while supporting digital procurement processes and ESG commitments across WSP's global operations.

Your impact will include:

  • Preparing and conducting sourcing events (RFx), analyzing supplier proposals to support informed supplier selection decisions.
  • Identifying, evaluating, and selecting suppliers based on defined commercial, operational, and compliance criteria.
  • Negotiating contracts, pricing, and terms with potential and existing suppliers, supporting contract development and documentation within procurement systems.
  • Maintaining accurate supplier records, performance metrics, and ensuring compliance with contractual terms, escalating issues as required.
  • Ensuring sourcing activities adhere to organizational policies, ESG standards, and regulatory requirements, including tracking and reporting ESG compliance for assigned suppliers.
  • Utilizing digital procurement platforms to manage sourcing activities, support reporting and analytics, and identify opportunities for process improvement and automation.
  • Collaborating with internal stakeholders to gather requirements, provide procurement updates, and support presentations and reporting.
  • Analyzing spend data, preparing cost analyses, tracking savings, and ensuring accuracy in purchase orders to support financial and operational excellence.

The skills that set you apart include:

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 4–7 years of experience in procurement, sourcing, or supply chain operations, including experience in category management.
  • Solid understanding of sourcing processes, supplier management, and contract administration within professional services environments.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret supplier data, spend trends, and market insights.
  • High attention to detail, particularly in managing documentation, compliance, and procurement systems.
  • Digital proficiency with e‑sourcing platforms, procurement systems, and analytics or reporting tools.
  • Understanding of ESG principles, sustainability, and ethical sourcing practices.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English (mandatory); French proficiency is considered an asset.

Compensation: AB, BC, NT, NU, SK & YT: $89,800 – $118,900; MB & ON: $81,900 – $112,800; NB, NL, NS, PE & QC: $81,100 – $107,700. Disclosure: The final salary awarded for this role may vary from the above range based on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, and business or organizational needs.
