Food Service Assistant

Join our team as a Food Service Assistant. This position will require you to work closely with Department staff in order to learn full operation of Cafe 1400.

Responsibilities

• Stock and maintain Deli Station (meat slicer, build sandwiches, grinders and wraps)
• Maintain proper rotation of all food products and other stock items (First in first out)
• Store delivered items (Beverages, produce, dry goods, perishable food)
• Preparation of foods according to daily production list (Chop and slice vegetables for soups, salads, menu items, and breakfast prep)
• Maintain a clean work area
• Replenish hot serving table during 1st shift lunch. Serve customers as needed
• Break down 1st shift lunch, cool down all hot food
• Set up for 2nd shift dinner break
• Have 2nd shift dinner break food ready for 5PM, (Hot food, soups, sandwiches, etc.) Serve customers as needed
• Break down and power off all equipment

Desired Experience

• 2 years experience preparing soups, salads, and entre meals
• 2 years experience in general kitchen knowledge

Schedule Pay and Benefits

• 3rd shift 1:30 AM - 9:30 AM Sunday thru Thursday night
• $20 per hour plus $2 per hour shift differential
