We are looking for professionals for the mentioned vacancy for new projects in the process of awarding. Although this position is not available immediately, your application will be reviewed and considered once the projects are finalized. Purpose:

For the Mechanical Department of Worley Argentina, we require a Senior Mechanical Engineer with experience in mining/hydrometallurgical projects (ideally SX/EW + BoP + Infrastructure).

Responsibilities of the position:

• Develop discipline-specific documents such as calculation memos, design criteria, technical specifications, data sheets, calculation memos, technical reports, and mechanical plans.
• Review the construction engineering of suppliers.
• Verify compliance with client and Worley specifications.
• Technical evaluation of supplier equipment offers.
• Meet project scope and identify deviations through design change management.
• Effectively communicate with the interdisciplinary engineering team and project stakeholders.
• Meet budgets and schedules.
• Identify problems, develop appropriate solutions, and request assistance when necessary.
• Stay updated with the latest developments in the specialty.
• Stay updated with applicable regulations.
• Have a focus on safety in design to be applied to the projects in which you will be involved.

Requirements for the position:

• Graduate in Mechanical Engineering.
• Solid experience in the transition of projects from Pre-FID to FEL 3 and EPCM.
• Experience in copper mining, grinding equipment, agglomeration, material handling systems.
• At least 10 years of experience in the development of conceptual, basic, and detailed engineering.
• Independent and proactive profile.
• Technical knowledge in ASME-TEMA-API-CIRSOC standards.
• Experience in mining.
• Intermediate to advanced English language skills.
• Availability to travel within the country.
