We're looking for Lead Material and Corrosion Engineer to join our Indonesia team. As you will be responsible for the material and corrosion engineering of the pipeline, by developing design concepts, design criteria and specifications, performing analysis, calculations and reviewing and implementing government regulations and industrial codes and practices in order to satisfy COMPANY SoW and BoD requirements.
To succeed in this role, you should have at least fifteen (15) year experience in the oil and gas industry, at least ten (10) year experience in material and corrosion discipline and at least five (5) year experience as Lead Material and Corrosion.

1. Bachelor of Science Degree in Material, Corrosion Engineering or equivalent, an advanced degree in engineering. Ideally have chartered engineer status within a recognized related Engineering Institution.
2. At least fifteen (15) year experience in the oil and gas industry, at least ten (10) year experience in material and corrosion discipline and at least five (5) year experience as Lead Material and Corrosion.
3. Has experience in developing material & corrosion engineering optimization studies, preparing technical specification and data sheets for line pipe, coatings, anodes, pipeline structures, valves and other equipment in pipeline systems and was responsible in specifying best suited fabrication methodology for the facility.
4. Has held the responsibility to undertake spares study and selection of different types of spares for various pipeline material.
5. Has led the assessment of pipe mills and manufacturers technical capabilities to ensure the delivery of quality product in timely manner.
6. Extensive experience in FEED and EPCI projects activities related to material and corrosion engineering of big bore and deep water pipeline. Proficient knowledge and working experience of material and corrosion engineering involved with all phases of projects from FEED to detail design and through to construction and pre-commissioning, project management and QC controls and procedures relating to project delivery.
