Basic Qualifications:
Cloud Architect Certifications (Azure & AWS preferred, or GCP) and Certified FinOps Practitioner
Experience with public cloud architecture, cloud strategy, networking, security, compliance workload types, migration patterns and tools.
Experience with various enterprise applications and IT services, as well as software development, compliance and security, and IT operations disciplines.
Knowledge of cloud design patterns, cloud operations and cloud cost models with experience implementing best practices or suggested improvements.
Responsible for developing, maintaining, and supporting the cloud optimization activities and make recommendations on reserved capacity strategy, utilization optimization opportunities, product architectural recommendations to promote cost savings, and discounts for optimization.
Experience in driving deep architectural discussions to help customers ensure they are making the most cost-efficient cloud usage choices.
Lead, develop, and implement the processes and capabilities required that ensure costs optimization.
Collaborate with technology teams to incorporate cost management best practices into cloud platforms via tagging, alerting and configurations that supports financial monitoring of cloud platforms.
Develop opportunities to optimize costs and operational improvement with key infrastructure and service providers.

Certain states and localities require employers to post a reasonable estimate of salary range. A reasonable estimate of the current base pay range for this position is $170,000 to $200,000.00 annually. Actual salary will be based on a variety of factors, including shift, location, experience, skill set, performance, licensure and certification, and business needs. The range for this position in other geographic locations may differ. Certain positions may also be eligible for variable incentive compensation, such as bonuses or commissions, that is not included in the base pay.
