  • Conduct remote Training of Trainers sessions for partner staff on ethical and age-appropriate data collection.
  • Support participatory engagement with adolescents, caregivers, community leaders, and health providers.
  • Assess decision-making power, access to and control over resources, participation in SRHR-related decisions, and cultural norms.
  • Identify key barriers and opportunities for adolescent girls and marginalized youth to access SRHR services and exercise their rights.
  • Examine how World Renew's PI model can promote gender equality and youth empowerment.
  • Recommend strategies to strengthen community-led approaches to gender and SRHR.
  • Produce a comprehensive GYHR Analysis Report with actionable findings.
  • Present preliminary results in a validation workshop or briefing session.
  • Translate findings into a detailed Gender Strategy guiding design, implementation, and monitoring of gender-responsive interventions.
  • Ensure alignment with Global Affairs Canada (GAC) gender-transformative programming standards.

The consultant will deliver the following outputs:

  • Inception Report – Including methodology, tools, and detailed work plan.
  • Desk Review Summary – Synthesis of relevant literature and data.
  • Field Data Collection Tools – Finalized instruments for qualitative engagement.
  • Preliminary Findings Presentation – For validation with World Renew and partners.
  • Comprehensive GYHR Analysis Report – Including integration with the PI model and actionable recommendations.
  • SAY-SRHR Gender Strategy – With gender-sensitive indicators, monitoring tools, and accountability framework.
  • Final Presentation – Virtual session to present findings and strategic recommendations.

Required Qualifications and Experience:

  • Advanced degree in Gender Studies, Public Health, International Development, or related discipline.
  • Minimum 7 years of experience conducting gender analyses, ideally in SRHR or youth-focused programs.
  • Proven expertise in gender-transformative and participatory methodologies.
  • Demonstrated ability to engage youth, communities, and institutions in rights-based approaches.
  • Strong communication and facilitation skills in cross-cultural contexts.
  • Prior experience with faith-based or community-driven development is an asset.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication in English; knowledge of Bangla is an advantage.
