The Role: WorldQuant is seeking an exceptional individual to lead the maturation phase of two essential software systems currently in firm wide use. These systems are an important part of the research and production trading pipelines. Your mission will be to relentlessly improve their performance, scalability, reliability and survivability while continuing to develop features. The successful candidate will manage a strong team of 6-8 junior to mid career developers with a focus on technical mentorship to nurture the extensive talent that exists within the team. This role will focus on providing architectural, SDLC and project management guidance and leadership- however relationship building with key end user constituencies is essential to success. WorldQuant is a total compensation organization where you will be eligible for a base salary, discretionary performance bonus, and benefits. The estimated base salary range for this position is $150,000 to $250,000 which is specific to New York and may change in the future. When finalizing an offer we will take into consideration an individual's experience level and the qualifications they bring to the role to formulate a competitive total compensation package.
