About The Role

Here at Workday, our Account Executives are key players in our Field Sales organization. Our Customer Base sales team uses their extensive experience and consultative selling skills to initiate and support sales of Workday Solutions within Workday's existing customers. This fantastic team of hardworking professionals play a key role in driving incremental add-on business into strategic named accounts. As a team, we believe that partnering with our customers to craft relevant solutions that deliver long lasting value is super important. We want to make sure that our customers are positively satisfied from day one and forever ongoing. In this role, you will:

  • Be responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with existing customers with a focus on upselling via deal management
  • Perform account planning for assigned accounts, coordinating with pre-sales and other resources to ensure strategic alignment
  • Drive strategic add-on and renewal business of Workday solutions within Large Enterprise customers
  • Coordinate cross functionally with Workday's internal teams (pre-sales, digital, value & bid-management, marketing, technical and sales support)

Dans ce rôle, vous serez amené(e) à :

  • DĂ©velopper et entretenir des relations avec les clients existants, en mettant l'accent sur la vente additionnelle grâce Ă  la gestion des opportunitĂ©s commerciales.
  • Élaborer des plans de comptes pour les clients qui vous sont attribuĂ©s, en collaborant avec les Ă©quipes avant-vente et autres ressources afin d'assurer l'alignement stratĂ©gique.
  • DĂ©velopper les ventes de solutions Workday (ventes additionnelles et renouvellements) auprès des grandes entreprises.
  • Collaborer avec les Ă©quipes internes de Workday (avant-vente, numĂ©rique, gestion de la valeur et des appels d'offres, marketing, support technique et commercial).

About You

Basic Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience selling to the Canadian Public Sector (Federal, Provincial, Municipalities and Higher Education) is required
  • 5+ years of experience selling SaaS/Cloud based ERP / HCM / Financial / Planning / or Analytics solutions to C-levels from a field sales position.
  • 5+ years experience negotiating deals with a variety of C-Suite Executives to close opportunities
  • 5+ years experience with building relationships with existing customers for add-on or incremental business
  • 5+ years experience in developing long-term account strategies with existing customers

Other Qualifications

  • 4+ years of experience selling to the Canadian Public Sector (Provincial, Municipalities and Higher Education) is required
  • Experience with managing longer deal cycles beyond 6 months, with large deal sizes
  • Understanding of the the strategic competitive landscape of the Canadian Public Sector (Provincial, Municipalities and Higher Education) by staying up to date with trends and customer needs so you can effectively position Workday solutions within accounts
  • Experience leveraging and partnering with internal team members on account strategies
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Plus de 5 ans d'expĂ©rience dans l'Ă©tablissement de relations avec des clients existants en vue de crĂ©er des occasions d'affaires supplĂ©mentaires ou progressives
  • Plus de 5 ans d'expĂ©rience dans le dĂ©veloppement de stratĂ©gies de comptes Ă  long terme auprès des clients existants

Autres Qualifications

  • ExpĂ©rience de la gestion de cycles d'affaires de plus de six mois pour des contrats de grande envergure
  • ComprĂ©hension de l'environnement concurrentiel stratĂ©gique du secteur (gouvernements provinciaux, municipalitĂ©s et Ă©tablissements d'enseignement supĂ©rieur) d'activitĂ© en restant au fait des tendances et des besoins des clients, afin de positionner efficacement les solutions Workday dans les comptes
