Senior Fullstack Engineer

At Workana, we are looking for a Senior Fullstack Engineer to work on a groundbreaking project for one of our clients in Brazil.

About the Project: We are building a reverse phone and email lookup platform that searches and unifies data associated with identifiers (name, possible addresses, social media profiles, and other metadata).

With the aim of increasing the security of those who conduct online business, use dating apps, receive unknown calls, or want to locate their own information available on the internet.

Main Responsibilities:

• Develop back-end (Python) and front-end (React.js) functionalities from scratch to production;
• Integrate and orchestrate external APIs (data lookup/OSINT), including error handling, retries, and rate limiting;
• Design and maintain data cleaning, normalization, and organization pipelines;
• Implement caching, structured logs, metrics, and monitoring for reliability and performance;
• Collaborate with product/business to prioritize impactful deliveries;
• Write technical documentation, PRDs, and short RFCs.

Required Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience proven as a Fullstack developer;
• Advanced experience with Python (FastAPI or Django) for building scalable APIs;
• Solid experience with React.js (componentization, hooks, state, tests);
• Experience in Integration with REST/JSON APIs and authentication by keys/tokens;
• Experience with relational database PostgreSQL and data modeling;
• Experience with Redis (cache) and queues/asynchronous (Celery/RQ or BullMQ);
• Experience in Automated tests, versioning (Git) and CI/CD;
• Intermediate English (technical reading/writing).
• Necessary to send links of GitHub/portfolio.

Desired Technical Differentials:

• Previous knowledge of OSINT (ethical collection, normalization, and consolidation of sources);
• Familiarity with phone/email patterns (E.164, libphonenumber) and deduplication;
• Experience in responsible web scraping (Playwright/Puppeteer) and proxy rotation;
• Search/Indexing (Elasticsearch/OpenSearch) and query optimization;
• Observability (metrics, tracing, logs) and security (OWASP, PII protection);
• Cloud (AWS/GCP), containers (Docker), and orchestration (Kubernetes).

Contractual Conditions:

• 100% Remote;
• Fulltime (40h/weekly);
• Immediate start;
• Payment up to 4,000 USD monthly;
• With a 12-month PJ contract through Workana, with possibility of renewal;
• We will only accept applications from professionals residents in Brazil.

4. Technical cultural interview with the client.
