Senior Data Engineer

At Workana, we are looking for a Senior Data Engineer with a passion for data, scalable architecture, and real business impact, to work part-time on a high-relevance project. You will have the opportunity to collaborate directly with one of our clients—a company specialized in analytics and credit risk management—contributing to the development of robust, intelligent, and product-oriented solutions.

About the Project:

We are building solutions that go beyond consulting, delivering complete products and analytical credit management. In the initial phase, we seek to strengthen our tech team with experienced professionals, freelancers, and product-oriented individuals capable of collaborating with business areas and developing solutions from scratch. Main Responsibilities:

• Develop pipeline for data reception (ETL), considering both static data, productive data, and online query data;
• Integrate database query service with the proposal form (application form), ensuring performance and security;
• Configure and maintain Azure analytical environment for database exploration with SQL, Python, Scala, or similar;
• Model databases aimed at credit products;
• Participate in the definition of product-oriented architecture, focusing on modularity, reusability, and scalability;
• Ensure compliance with LGPD and good data governance practices.

Required Technical Skills:

• Python (Pandas, NumPy, SQLAlchemy) minimum 3 years of experience;
• Advanced SQL (minimum 3 years of experience);
• Azure Data Factory / Synapse Analytics;
• Power BI;
• Experience with analytical environments and data orchestration (e.g., Airflow, dbt, Delta Lake).

Desired Technical Skills:

• Previous experience with microservices architecture;
• Knowledge of REST/GraphQL APIs and front-end integration;
• Experience with financial products or credit management;
• Familiarity with data security, anonymization, and versioning practices.

Contract Conditions:

• Part-time (4 hours a day);
• 100% remote with flexible hours;
• Payment up to R$ 4,000,00 reais monthly;
• Initial PJ contract for 3 months, through Workana;
• Possibility of contract extension based on good performance;
