Wood is recruiting for a Senior Instrumentation & Controls Engineer to join our Minerals & Metals business, focusing on instrument & controls packages within mining & mineral processing projects. This is a 6-month contract with possibility for extension based in our Perth CBD office.
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced I&C Engineer to join a high-performing team and contribute to the success of the business. In this role, you will support an established team focused on FEED and execution delivery for engineering projects.

Reporting to the EIC Functional Manager, as part of this role, you will be in an influential position in guiding and assisting in the technical assurance and delivery of engineering works on nominated projects / studies.

In this role, your dual focus on relationships and delivery will be essential. Anticipating client needs beyond the immediate scope, you will drive technical excellence and assurance on the instrument & controls engineering portion, while enabling the ongoing growth and development of your team. You will also work in close partnership with other disciplines and the client to enable robust technical decisions that ultimately add value to the client and asset portfolio.

Suitably qualified in I&C Engineering from a recognised institution, ideally you will have proven experience working in a similar Senior I&C Engineering role, supported by 10+ years of relevant design engineering experience within the Mining and / or processing industries.
