Wood is recruiting for a Lead Certification Engineer to join its Operations team to lead a Certification/Completions Team in the delivery of assigned commissioning projects in a safe and effective manner.
To process completion of systems to handover, in line with the project schedule and milestones, ensuring all systems are handed over fully certified in a timely and orderly manner. Ensure all Completions/Project Team Members are aware of /and implement safe working practices and are provided with a safe working environment at all times.
Accountable for the management of the project completions process including the collection and maintenance of all certification records from Mechanical Completion to final handover.
Management of either certification or completions on a large project, or both on a smaller project.

Qualifications
Minimum Level 4 ISCED (post secondary vocation education) in technical subject, Level 5 (short-cycle tertiary) preferred.
Knowledge, skills and experience:
Significant experience (typically a minimum of 5 years) in a certification and/or completions role, with a proven background in safety
Ability to read relevant drawings eg P&ID's, SLD's, GA's , with excellent understanding of LOSH
Conversant with the certification and completions processes and associated software
Experienced in the production of procedures and reports
Experienced in the supervision/training of personnel and team working.
Good knowledge of projects and HSEQ safe working practices/ procedures
Ability to carry out systemisation of projects
Ability to demonstrate high level of understanding of HSE processes and procedures and their implementation
Ability to work and deliver project milestones in a consistent and structured manner
