Engineering System Lead

We are seeking an experienced and proactive Engineering System Lead to lead the administration, integration, and optimization of engineering design platforms across our oil & gas projects. This role is critical in supporting multi-discipline engineering teams by ensuring the reliability and performance of key software systems used throughout the project lifecycle.

Responsibilities
What makes you remarkable?
- Administer and maintain SmartPlant and COMOS environments, ensuring data integrity, user access control, and system performance
- Provide expert-level support for AutoCAD and Aveva E3D, including configuration, troubleshooting, and user training
- Collaborate with engineering, IT, and construction teams to align software tools with project execution strategies
- Lead software upgrades, patching, and integration with other enterprise systems
- Develop and enforce best practices for engineering data management and software usage
- Support digital transformation initiatives and drive continuous improvement in engineering workflows
Qualifications
- Minimum 15 years of experience in engineering software administration within the oil & gas or EPC industry
- Proven expertise as a SmartPlant Administrator and COMOS Administrator
- Strong working knowledge of AutoCAD and Aveva E3D
- Familiarity with engineering data workflows, document control, and project execution systems
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with other engineering tools such as Navisworks, Bentley Systems, Hexagon and Aveva tools
- Understanding of construction and commissioning data requirements
- Exposure to cloud-based engineering platforms and digital twin technologies
