Wood is seeking a civil engineer to join its project business unit, focusing on the Oil, Gas, and New Energies (OGNE) area. This opportunity is based in Bogota.

• Review reports and utilize data obtained in topographic surveys, soil studies, hydraulic studies.
• Ensure that designs are performed in accordance with national and international codes and standards of NSR-10, RAS, API, ASTM, OSHA regulations, as well as client specifications and good engineering practices.
• Participate in interdisciplinary reviews of documents, to ensure proper handling of information and integrity of engineering.
• Participate in internal meetings for review/definition of project technical issues.
• Attend scheduled workshops during project development, such as peer review, constructability, design review.
• Identify and report new hazards and environmental aspects in the workplace in a timely manner.
• Report accidents and incidents, unsafe acts and conditions to HSSE and COPASST.
• Make conscious and rational use of resources (water, energy, paper) and separate generated waste.
• Perform safe moments at the beginning of internal meetings or with visitors when applicable.

Develop the necessary activities and documents to achieve optimal designs in the assigned projects, ensuring their quality, timely delivery, and guaranteeing the operational safety and economic feasibility required in the project. Lead small workgroups and technically support with the support of the Discipline Leader, the development of Civil designs (Geotechnical, hydraulic, road, and topographic), in the assigned projects, ensuring their quality and guaranteeing the safety required in the project.
