Account Executive
Wolters Kluwer Legal Software supports experts in law firms, notaries, legal departments, and the public sector to work more efficiently, minimize risks, and solve complex problems confidently. Our product portfolio includes AnNoText, Legisway, Kleos, and Winra.
We are looking for an engaged and results-oriented Account Executive to join the Wolters Kluwer team.
As part of our growth strategy, we are currently building a new sales team in Germany focused on our product easyQuorum – soon to be known as Legisway Meeting – one of our most successful legal software solutions in France.
Our goal is to replicate this success in the German market: to attract new customers, establish our product, and position Legisway Meeting as the leading solution for legal professionals and corporate legal departments.
Your tasks include:
- Actively building and developing the German market in the legal tech environment – with a clear hands-on mentality and a high degree of personal responsibility
- Identifying, approaching, and acquiring potential customers in the legal sector through various channels such as cold calling, networking, social media, and industry events
- Independently building, maintaining, and further developing a sales pipeline with qualified leads
- Developing and implementing a strategic sales plan to target law firms, legal departments, and other relevant players in the legal field
- Proactively identifying market opportunities and observing trends in the legal technology sector to unlock new business opportunities
- Conducting convincing sales talks, as well as professional product demonstrations and consultation appointments
- Building, maintaining, and sustainably developing long-term customer relationships in the German market
- Working closely with internal teams (e.g., product, marketing, customer success) to ensure smooth onboarding and successful delivery of our services
- Negotiating contracts and successfully closing deals in accordance with existing guidelines and policies
- Actively contributing to the establishment of processes, structures, and best practices – in an environment that feels like building a new company within the group
Your profile includes:
- Completed degree (e.g., legal studies, business administration, business information management, sales management) or a comparable commercial or sales training
- Several years of sales experience, ideally in the SaaS environment, in the legal tech sector, or in the sale of complex software solutions
- Strong interest in building a new market from scratch ("start-up mentality"): You think entrepreneurially, act independently, and enjoy creating new structures. Since we are almost building the German market from scratch, we are looking for a profile that acts independently, proactively tackles challenges, and does not shy away from "closed doors"
- Strong hunter mentality and a passion for cold calling, networking, and systematically building your own sales pipeline
- Understanding of legal target groups (law firms, legal departments) or the willingness to quickly and intensively familiarize yourself with this environment
- Very good communication and presentation skills, especially in the context of product demos and consultation meetings
- Strategic mindset and the ability to recognize market potentials and translate them into effective sales strategies
- High motivation, assertiveness, and results orientation – especially in the context of building a new market
- Ability to build long-term customer relationships and act as a reliable contact person on an equal footing
- Enjoy working with internal teams (e.g., product, marketing, customer success) to ensure successful customer onboarding
- Very good German and English skills in writing and speaking; French skills are an advantage
