A little bit about our team:

The Warner Chappell Global Strategic Integration and Operations team is a small but mighty team focused on delivering and implementing business objectives. Working closely with our global leaders, we are responsible for driving and embedding our global business strategy.

Your role:

Warner Chappell Music is seeking a dynamic, strategic, and deeply collaborative Senior Vice President, Strategic Integration & Operations to join our global leadership team. This highly visible role will serve as a key partner to our Co-Chairs, Global Department Leaders, and Managing Directors, helping to shape the future of music publishing and enhancing our commitment to supporting songwriters globally.

This individual will operate at the intersection of strategy and operations, with a strong emphasis on collaboration and partnership across internal stakeholders. They will drive and facilitate cross-functional leadership across departments and geographies, setting the rhythm for the business and ensuring alignment between global priorities and local execution. Here you'll get to:

  • Leadership & Culture:

    • Represent Warner Chappell Music, embodying and promoting a culture of curiosity, collaboration, and commitment, always advocating for what is best for the company and its people.
    • Serve as a key partner to executive leadership, translating strategic vision into tangible plans, driving operational alignment for major initiatives, and acting as a connective tissue across departments and functions to ensure initiatives reflect company values with a people-centered approach.
    • Partner with People Team to drive a cohesive company culture and act as a point of contact for feedback, actively building relationships with employees/management teams across all territories.
  • Operational Excellence & Collaboration:

    • Identify and implement operational efficiencies across departments and global offices, fostering cross-functional collaboration to improve processes and decision-making.
    • Serve as the primary liaison between the business and all corporate departments (e.g., Facilities, Technology), translating business needs into actionable initiatives.
    • Actively engage with global leads and teams to identify gaps and formulate streamlined, end-to-end workflow/process solutions, taking into account local nuances and identify synergies to simplify processes.
    • Foster cross-functional synergy through design and implementation of workflow and process solutions to enhance efficiency and collaboration across our dynamic global operations.
  • Strategic Vision & Partnership:

    • Partner with the Co-Chairs, Global Leads, and Managing Directors to define, track, and drive annual company goals and strategic priorities.
    • Work with Global Leads and Managing Directors to design and refine their annual goals and objectives.
    • Prepare and deliver high-impact presentations for Board meetings, serving as a key presenter and trusted voice.
    • Lead the preparation and facilitation of executive leadership meetings, ensuring clear agendas, driving discussions toward key decisions, and holding senior leaders accountable for action items to maintain organizational alignment.
    • Help define and refine the long-term strategic direction of Warner Chappell Music, always with an eye toward supporting our songwriters and creative partners.
  • Technology & Business Intelligence:

    • As liaison between the business and the Technology organization, evangelize and advocate WCM's strategy/mission/culture so technology priorities are aligned with the Company's vision.
    • Manage the Business Intelligence team to help inform decision making and prioritization throughout the company.
    • Manage the AI and Automation growth team to help prioritize and allocate resources to key WCM processes, workflows, and business needs.
    • Evaluate technologies that improve scalability, transparency, and productivity across the global business - providing a point of view/recommendation that aligns to the company's strategy and vision.

About you:

  • Highly collaborative, intellectually curious, and mission-driven.
  • Proven experience leading cross-functional teams, managing people, and successfully implementing initiatives, with a strong action-oriented approach preferably within the music industry or related creative sectors.
  • Proven track record of driving complex global initiatives and building strong, collaborative relationships across diverse teams.
  • Demonstrated high emotional intelligence and a collaborative leadership style. The ability to "win hearts and minds" and build relational capital is essential.
  • Experience presenting to boards and senior executives.
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to turn insights into action.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; adept at navigating complex organizational structures with warmth and compassion.

We'd love it if you also had:

  • Background/experience in business psychology (industrial-organizational psychology) is a plus.
