Full Stack Engineer (React & PHP) - Balkans Remote

We are looking to hire an experienced Full Stack Engineer with a focus on React to build, maintain, and scale complex web applications. This role requires a self-starter mindset, the ability to work independently, and a strong sense of ownership. You will be part of the initial team responsible for knowledge transfer, navigating minimal documentation and bridging knowledge gaps while bringing structure and stability to the client's system.

What You Will Do:

• Develop, maintain, and optimize scalable React & PHP-based applications and services.
• Participate in knowledge transfer sessions and quickly absorb complex system details.
• Collaborate with developers, QA, designers, and stakeholders to define features and architecture.
• Integrate APIs and manage database interactions efficiently.
• Implement UI development principles to ensure that the product client-side serves at scale.
• Optimize application performance, responsiveness, and security.
• Write unit and integration tests to ensure code quality and stability.

What You Will Need:

• 5+ years of development experience
• Proficient with JavaScript framework – React.js
• Knowledge of Typescript
• Solid experience with PHP (Laravel, Symfony, or similar frameworks).
• Experience with relational databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL).
• Strong knowledge of object-oriented programming and design patterns.
• Familiarity with modern web development practices (REST, GraphQL, microservices).
• Proven ability to work independently with minimal guidance and manage deliverables proactively.
• Proficiency in debugging and test automation.
• Strong communication skills in English.
