The role is a full-time role. You will be working Sunday to Thursday, 7:00am - 3:30pm based in Wellington. Join our dynamic Northern Mobile Team and empower Tāngata Whai Ora to live independently and achieve their goals. Mental health experience is valued, but your lived experience and heart for whānau are just as important. Work alongside a supportive team committed to manaakitanga, connection, and making a meaningful impact on each person's journey to wellbeing.

Responsibilities include:

  • Help people build meaningful connections with their communities, building the relationships that matter most.
  • Advocate and support people to improve their wellbeing and thrive.
  • Provide medication support and recovery-focused care.
  • Work alongside Registered Health Professionals with a shared purpose.
  • Manage your caseload with the support of collaborative and caring team.

We are interested to hear from people who are driven to support every person using our services to achieve equitable access and outcomes. We value cultural competence, lived experience of mental health and addiction, and a willingness to learn and grow in this space.

Applicants must also meet the following requirements:

  • A current full driver's licence
  • Excellent time management, administration and record keeping skills.
  • A supportive, collaborative team player with great relationship building skills
  • A current first aid certificate or be willing to obtain one
  • The Level 4 New Zealand Certificate in Health and Wellbeing (NZCHW) or a recognised equivalent or are currently studying towards this qualification or a recognised equivalent. Alternatively, you will be willing to commence study towards this within six months of starting your employment with Pathways. This needs to be completed within two years of commencement. Pathways offers significant support for Support Workers to complete this study.
