Support tāngata whaiora in holistic wellness: help with meals, chores and more to nurture their physical, emotional and spiritual health.

This is a permanent, part-time role, working Friday and Saturday, 3:00pm- 11:30pm, based in Tauranga.

In this role you will:

  • Support people in a mental health adult respite setting, working individually and as part of a team.
  • Have good people skills and able to work independently and within a wider team.
  • Be busy supporting people with budgeting and independent daily living skills.
  • Attending appointments and advocating for people.
  • Might be assisting people to connect with their communities.
  • Be prepared to do whatever it takes for the people we support - cleaning, cooking, gardening, personal care or helping with everyday tasks.

Applicants must hold the Level 4 New Zealand certificate in Health and Wellbeing (or a recognized equivalent) or have commenced studies towards their qualification.

You must hold a current full New Zealand driver's licence.

You must hold a current first aid certificate or be willing to obtain one.

Knowledge of, and demonstrable commitment to, the articles of Te Tiriti o Waitangi.
