The Role

Our casual roles cover leave for permanent Support Workers, providing you with the opportunity to gain valuable experience across a range of our services (community mobile, respite, residential and recovery). Join us today and expand your skillset!

This varied role could see you working on a variety of different tasks:

  • When working in a respite service you would support guests with medication, provide a listening ear, support on sit activities, maintain a home, cook, clean and host visiting clinical teams.
  • In our residential services you would be beside the supported person for tasks like appointments, shopping, cleaning and medication.
  • In our community services you would undertake home based support that includes supporting people with household tasks, attending appointments, grocery shopping taking medication and exercise from home.

You will have:

  • A current full driver's licence
  • A current first aid certificate or are you willing to obtain one
  • For our respite services, applications must hold the New Zealand Certificate in Health and Wellbeing (NZCHW) or a recognised equivalent, or are currently studying towards this qualification or a recognised equivalent
  • Able to be flexible and available for varying shifts
